I do realize some of this is probably related to the recent covid pandemic but not all of it. Needless to say it was a very disappointing trip and we have no intentions of returning anytime soon. The comedy club was gone, the stage in the hallway where they had shows occasionally was also gone.

They have put in a big shopping wing which I have no interest in whatsoever and they've closed down many of the restaurants, as well as the shups in the hallway leading to rainmaker Square, its all just blank glass walls. The ones that do say penny are not really penny machines because the minimum bet on many of them is 40, 50 cents and more so the not really penny machines in my opinion. Also we are not big spenders but we always enjoyed time playing the penny slots, of course I know when you put money in these machines I don't expect to get it back however you used to to be able to play for quite a while winning some and losing some, clearly they've tightened these machines up a bit because it sucks your money up very fast and most of the games they have now are not as interactive as used to be. The ones that were open had dozens and dozens of machines either turned off or had signs said temporarily out of order. It was sad to see many of the casino floors were closed.

We were very disappointed in our last visit to Foxwoods Casino.
